Marina Capella, MD, MEd, MBA
I’m a pediatrician, a medical educator, and a first-generation college student. Growing up in a working-class immigrant family, I know how confusing and stressful navigating healthcare and medical education can be. I’ve worked on medical school admissions committees and mentored hundreds of students, so I love helping young people find their path in medicine. When I’m not in the clinic or teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting others in reaching their goals.

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my husband and two kids, running, traveling, and staying involved in the community.

application to the best of my abilities.

FMD empowered me to embrace and articulate my unique journey as a Latino aspiring physician, giving me the tools and confidence to navigate the medical school application process. The mentorship, community, and unwavering support I received were instrumental to my success,
